Meet Dr. Joanna Hsia (Trabuco Canyon, CA)

Dr. Hsia left her career in banking and finance to pursue optometry because she enjoys serving people on a more personal level. She loves science and everything about the eye. Beyond her clinical care, she has also received accolades for her optometric research.

Dr. Hsia enjoys being part of the Dove Canyon Optometry family because of the collaborative team environment and the attention given to each patient. She values the teamwork and camaraderie within the practice and enjoys caring for the community it serves.

In her spare time, Dr. Hsia enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband are busy raising their young son and daughter, along with their dog, Milo. Dr. Hsia also enjoys volunteering her skills and time on medical mission trips with Baptist Medical and Dental Missions International and hopes to bring her family along on one in the future.
