Dear Valued DCO Patients,

With the unprecedented surge in new COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations, we have decided to voluntarily postpone routine eye exams for the month of January and reduce our hours of operation.  Although we feel that our safety protocols have been excellent, we want to do our part to ensure that the fewest number of people on our community are infected and that our local hospitals are not burdened beyond their ability to provide adequate care to those in need.

For the month of January, this means:

1.  Routine Vision Exams will be postponed until February.  If you are experiencing a sudden/concerning change to your vision, have insurance that is ending, or are in urgent need of new glasses or contact, we will gladly make an exception for you.

2.  We will be open for emergencies, infections, and injuries as well as for scheduled follow-up exams (such as LASIK, Contact lens fitting, and Ortho-K appointments).  Please call or email us and we will arrange to see you.

3.  We will be reducing our hours of operation.  For the month of January, we will be open:

           Tues - Fri            11am - 4pm

           Sat                   11am - 2pm

           Sun/Mon          Closed

4.  You can still order glasses and contact lenses during this time.

We recognize that this is a big inconvenience for all of you.  We appreciate your flexibility and understanding and we do our very best to care for each other through this crisis.  We consider it an honor to care for your vision.  We are always available to help however we can.  Stay safe and healthy.

Dr. Kostura and the DCO Team.
